Greetings in Christ Jesus, thank you for visiting our webpage. We are excited to get this up and running
and hope it is of benefit to those who see it.
My style is expositional – that is, I generally go line by line, verse by verse, out of the Bible. When it comes to preaching, it is my chief concern to preach what the Church has taught for 2000 years. I am not innovative. I’m not supposed to be. I preach what was once and for all delivered unto the saints (Jude 3), and if ever I do not do that, I welcome correction. The best preacher is the one who gets out of the way and lets the Scriptures speak for themselves, as they have been understood by the Church throughout her history. This, I strive to do. My understanding of the role of pastor is that of shepherd, not CEO. I am to lead primarily by example and then by exhortation and admonition. I fail at it, but I do try. My primary duties are preaching and teaching, then binding up the wounded and offering wise counsel to the afflicted in spirit. I spend too much time in administration, but this too is necessary. A pastor is a shepherd and overseer. It is a grave task of which I am unworthy, and no one should take it upon himself unless he is sure that he is called of God and the Church.
I welcome your emails, phone calls, or letters. May the Lord bless you.
